This page describes the terms of use and privacy policy of the help-joomla.com website, trading as Help Joomla. By purchasing services from Help Joomla via help-joomla.com, you agree to be bound by and accept the following terms and conditions:

Service Description

help-joomla.com is an online maintenance and support service exclusively for Joomla websites. This includes all services displayed on help-joomla.com or offered privately to each client.

help-joomla.com reserves the right to suspend or discontinue the availability of  any service at any time at its sole discretion and without prior notice.


You are engaging help-joomla.com, as an independent contractor to perform work as described in the service(s) you have purchased. To perform these tasks access is required to your website and hosting account. By purchasing a product or service via help-joomla.com you give authorization to access and modify the directories, files and database of your website and hosting account.

Copyright Law

help-joomla.com takes no responsibility for your legal interests, therefore it is the client’s responsibility to ensure that information, logo’s and images comply with copyright law and you have permission to publish your selected information.

Limitation Of Liability

In no event shall help-joomla.com be liable under contract, tort, strict liability, negligence or other legal theory with respect to the website, any services provided or purchased, for any lost profits or special, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages of any kind whatsoever.

Support Requests & Monthly Support Time

Support requests must be through the correct channels, and directly relate to your Joomla website. To request support please open a ticket in the client area.

Membership entitles you to monthly support, development and design time (hrs). If unused before the end of each month this support time expires and does not accumulate. In the event that additional development and design time is needed it can be purchased at a rate of $50 per hour.

Each package is for one website only. Support requests must directly relate to the website associated with the client’s account, and are responded to within 24hrs, usually much less.

Joomla, Plugin & Template Updates

All updates are completed within 30 days of release, with priority given to security releases. We offer up to an hour of upgrade support should there be any issues. If we can’t fix it within that time, we will restore the website back-up, and contact the client with recommendations.

Backup Service

For website backups we will work with the client to ensure off site backups are taken, either by their hosting company or to the clients remote storage location. 

Site owners must note that external daily, weekly backups etc will increase their websites bandwidth usage, and may incur additional costs with their hosting providers.

Warranty Details

We are not responsible for site uptime - call your hosting company.
We are not responsible for database integrity or updates unless you've paid for this service.
We are not responsible for for the management of content on your site, unless you paid for the service.
We are not responsible for content not showing up outside of Internet Explorer or Firefox on Personal Computers or Laptops.
Design for non-compliant browsers (Internet Explorer, any version older than 8, or Mobile devices) unless compatibility service was agreed to prior to start of warranty.
Flash is considered non-compliant software and therefore may not be readily viewable on all browsers or mobile devices.
We are not responsible for your content showing up (or not showing up) on Google or other search engines.

Not Covered

Support for any problems or errors arising with, or caused by the hosting system
Support for any problems or errors arising with, or caused by customer error
Systems developed by developers and providers other than help-joomla.com are not covered by the warranty. 

Warranty Terms:

It is up to the client to diligently find any and all bugs or errors within the 15 day period. Any issues not reported to us by the end of the 15th day, will be considered new work, even if condition is pre-existing.

Cancellation & Refunds

Cancellation of any monthly recurring service can occur at anytime after your first 1 month (30 days) of service. No refunds are available after your purchased package or service has been started, unless otherwise specified in any authorized promotional materials and marketing campaigns.

Promotions & Advertising

Promotional offers for help-joomla.com or partners may be sent togeather with email reports. help-joomla.com also reserves the rights to display third party advertisements on the website. This website contains some affiliate links to businesses we have used and would recommend.

Pricing & payments

All prices appearing on this site are subject to change without notice. If pricing changes affect subscriptions or ongoing charges clients will notified via their nominated email account with a minimum of 6 weeks notice.

Service refusal

help-joomla.com reserves the right to refuse service to any website or individual. We do not accept websites that contain offensive, pornographic, hateful or malicious content.

Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to help-joomla.com. This privacy statement provides information about the personal information that help-joomla.com collects, and the ways in which help-joomla.com uses that personal information.

Personal information collection

help-joomla.com may collect and use the following kinds of personal information:

  1. Information that you provide using for the purpose of registering with website newsletters and competitions
  2. information about transactions carried out over this website
  3. information that you provide for the purpose of purchasing services

All communications/correspondences is generally done via emails. It is client’s responsibility to keep us updated with their relevant email addresses.
